I loved my stay at Lamphu House. It's a fantastic guest house centrally located in Old Town with great amenities for an affordable price. Stayed in a two double bed room with our own balcony facing another building. We didn't need to pay extra for a poolside view as long as we had a comfortable room, which was spacious with good sized closet, mini fridge for our drinks, and a clean bathroom. The shower area did not have a curtain so there is still potential for splash back, but still a clean space. You're walking distance from convenience stores, cafes, and about 15 minutes from the night markets. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

I stayed in the room for two days. The room was very small and the bed was also to small for me. My legs were hanging off the side of the bed, i am 190 cm tall. Otherwise it was equipped well. For breakfast you had to pay extra. The staff is nice and helps you with luggage. The pool looks nice and is a bit cold. The room next to ours had barking dogs and it was a bit annoying. I could come to this location again if i stay in Chiang Mai.

Very nice place to stay in Chang Mai. Great location in nice quiet area but close to lots of attractions - laundry in same Street, 7-Eleven, massage and many good restaurants within easy walk. Good size rooms, comfy bed, good aircon, nice selection and tasty Breakfast. Nice pool. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Pool was great. Rooms were clean, only downside was that we had a room with one wall directly getting all the sun light which made it really hot in the room. Ac was not really properly working. There were also little gaps beneath the door which made it easy to get mosquitos in :/ Staff were friendly. Worth the money either way. :)

Good place for hotel. The hotel is big in the town. It has swimming pool. Even we paid for the hotel fee but we need to deposit 500 bth and they will return for us if there is no issue with the room. The receptionist is professional in sharing information. They also have some tours for us to go around Chiang Mai.

Great location. When travelling on Sundays, note that the Sunday Night Market is around the guest house so no taxi can drive through. Not too friendly staff which is a little bit odd in Thailand. No Safe Box in the rooms, and you have to get a safe box with 100 BHT deposit. Also on the check-in you have to pay 500BHT deposit. No soap or hand liquid in the bathroom, only shampoo and shower gel. Only two bath towels available, no hand towels. No slippers. Sheets and towels are in beige so hard to see stains. No lifts in the building.
